Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Overall Summary of Function
Blueprint Studios is looking for an experienced CAD Designer who knows how live events actually work.We need someone who can move fast without sacrificing accuracy — a designer who can take a venue plan, client brief, sales notes, or marked-up PDF and quickly turn it into a clear, functional, production-ready event floor plan. This is not purely an architectural drafting position. You need to understand events, people flow, furniture, scenic elements, registration, exhibits, production logistics, fire/life-safety requirements, and how a drawing translates into an event that has to be installed and operated in the real world. The CAD Designer provides accurately scaled drafted floor plans and CAD’s for a variety of event design needs. Appropriate layout of furnishings to allow for proper function and flow in support of special events, trade shows, conferences, and more!
